Every year, Webster-Thomas and Webster-Schroeder High Schools conduct DWI awareness demonstrations for their students. These displays involve the reenactment of life-like accidents with real vehicles. Wilbert’s U-Pull It donates two cars to each high school in order to provide the schools with the resources to continue this admirable program. Students are able to witness the effects of impaired driving from a new perspective, from response time of emergency services to the scary experience of being trapped in a wrecked car. In addition to providing the vehicles, we also like to attend the events to take photos and observe the Webster Police Department and Webster Emergency Services in action. We appreciate their investment in the local student community and are proud to be involved.
